Graduated Student (Title Degree in process)

I am interested in arthropods and their genetics. Arthropods are fascinating by their diversity and survival strategies. In the case of social Hymenoptera, I am amazed by their level of organization. To understand their genetics is fundamental for the understanding the evolution of life itself. This is why I am currently focusing on the studies of ant species delimitation using genetic data.

During my previous training I participated in the Laboratory of Biotic Interactions in altered habitats, where I was involved in identification of arthropods. Later I also participated in the Multidisciplinary Center of Studies in Biotechnology UMSNH, where I learned some of the basic genetic techniques.
