Bio
My academic training has been oriented towards ecology, specifically the ecological processes that ants carry out in ecosystems. My interests have led me to study the impact of humans on the diversity of ants, and the role of ants as seeds dispersers. I find ants very interesting and an excellent study model as indicator organisms and their great adaptation to different types of environments, which has recently led me to study the distributional patterns of ants across Mexico.
